I love these monitor arms. It’s like having a tranforming computer.

Both arms redeployed as a single laptop-supporting configuration.

The additional space beneath the monitor allows me to place keyboards (both computer and musical) further beneath the display, nice and close where I can see it.

Incidentally, these pictures are showing a two-computer system, linked through a single keyboard/mouse using Synergy. This is my auxiliary setup; I have a larger 27” monitor that’s currently at a friend’s studio, where I’m sharing some space.

I read about this dual arm monitor/laptop support system from Ergotron, and was moved to try it because I’ve been having posture issues working at home. I could never get the laptop or monitor positioned quite right, and I was missing the desk space. As you can see here, the monitors not only can be exactly where I want, but they can also lift entirely out of the way.

Just got an IPEVO FR33-1, which is a corded USB telephone handset for use with Skype.
